the code

no, not unit-core-god-country, cfa code of ethics:
actually place used practice promos in maintenance
roughly equates to:
act - with integrity, competence, diligence, respect and in ethical manner with clients
place - integrity of investment profession and the interests of clients above your own
use - reasonable care and independent judgement in investing analysis, recommendations, advice and engaging in professional activities
practice - in professional and ethical manner that will reflect well on profession, encourage other to do likewise
promote - integrity of capital markets and uphold applicable laws
maintain - and strive for improving professional competence and encourage others to do likewise

efficient & effective

according to The Financial Analysts Review© i need to be mindful to not just read thru a topic a week (drat); i have to study-smart in order to master the material. they offer of the following condensed factors:

The Seven Factors Necessary to Pass the Level I CFA Exam
1. Commit to learning the material
2. Start early
3. Study with the exam in mind
• Learning to recognize true statements of fact.
• Thinking about false statements that could be made.
• Considering what items must be present to make something true or correct.
4. Rehearse—work: examples, calculations & practice questions.
5. Study every topic
6. CFA Institute material: solve before looking at the answer.
7. Be engaged in your study. seek to engrave response to the LOS on your brain. Write as you study—it will keep you focused on the material—you will learn better.
